SH Info is a static informational site. We use the smallest possible set of cookies consistent with running the site. We do not carry advertising, we do not share cookie data with third parties for marketing, and we do not use trackers that follow you around the web.
What is a cookie

Cookies we set
SH Info sets only strictly-necessary cookies. These cookies do not need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) because they are strictly necessary for a service you have explicitly requested.
Cookies we do not set
We do not set advertising cookies, we do not set third-party analytics cookies without your explicit opt-in, and we do not set social-network cookies. If we ever introduce optional analytics in future, it will be behind an opt-in consent banner and clearly disclosed here.
How to control cookies

Do Not Track
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" header. We honour DNT signals for any non-essential cookies. Because we do not set non-essential cookies without consent anyway, in practice DNT has no additional effect on your experience.
Third-party content
Where we embed content from third parties — for example, an image hosted on our own domain but linked to a Wikipedia article — the linked page's own cookie policy applies once you click through. We do not embed third-party scripts or trackers.
Legal basis
Our processing of cookie data complies with the UK Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations 2003 as amended, and with the UK GDPR. Where we rely on consent, we ask you clearly and give you an easy way to withdraw consent.
